Uh, wow. Has it really been that long since I posted art? Did go through quite a dry spell there, but I've started drawing again, yay! There are also some RL paintings to post, but that will have to wait until pictures have been taken and cleaned up. For now:

From the sci-fi/fantasy universe I've been poking at since forever. Working title of the verse is "Big Black." Doesn't really fit the story much anymore, but that's what it's labeled as in all my files so that's good enough for now.

Doing this kinda out of order since I haven't posted the infodump/babble on the last group of primary characters yet, but my notes on them are all over the place and so will require some digging. Which I am currently too lazy to do.

I tried a new method on an acrylic painting done for Sister Younger this summer. It wound up working well so I tried more with it and have managed to produce three more paintings. Which makes this my most productive year for traditional paintings since graduating in 2008. Woo!

Heeey, lookit! Some traditional media stuff!

First one is commissioned from Sister Younger. She wanted something to add color to their bedroom. I took the opportunity to see if I could make masking fluid work with something other than watercolors. The conclusion: yes. :D Acrylic on canvas, 12" x 16" each for a total width of 37".
